does anyone else find it a little odd that so many charaters from the past that we havent seen in awhile are all of a sudden brought back. i mean im very glad about all this but i think the reason is alot of these characters can be killed off in this entry and then boon will never have to deal with them again. anyway it was just a thought i had and was wondering what everyone else here thinks about it.
They were brought back because the fans wanted them back. Period.

yeah the whole idea behind there being so many ninjas back for example is because thats what the fans have asked for instead of other characters like the majority of the MK 4 cast, only the ones who have been in the majority of the series and ones who have the biggest fan bases usually make a return, there are of course exceptions like sonja who to this day hasn't been mentioned as a playable character in Deception but she has only missed out MK 2 b4 hand and they did keep her story going by introducing Jax.
