Im really glad to see him in this game. Again, I hope he has no relation to Quan chim, as quan chi seemed to just have disappeared of MK6. Any thoughts.

I think you mean Hotaru. smile And yeah, I'm looking forward to using him. I'm very interested about this "Order" organization that he is a part of and what role it will have in the storyline.

I am. From what I've seen from the MK: Deception videos Hotaru is the coolest looking out of the newest characters. His moves look cheap. Overall I can't wait to try him out. Heck if he is one of the 1st selectables that aren't locked from when you 1st play the game I might pick him.

i like his character design. all the new characters look promising.

im glad to see people paying attention to these characters and not making "bring back rain and kitana" petitions.

From what I've seen, his lava type special move and that one fatality where he grabs em by the leg and beats em on the ground, I say he'd be pretty awesome to fight as. I think he'd probably be the first kombatant I choose, just to test his skills.

One of my favorite attacks to use as Li Mei are her Flying Fists. Hotaru's Grasshopper Kick looks like it works the same way. I'd love to stomp an opponent against the wall with it grin.

But Hotaru is not a samurai! Dairou is (or was), but Hotaru is a Guardian of Order, working to restore Order to Outworld.

In terms of real life Samurai is any powerful japanese warrior but I really think Dairou really fits as a samurai more than Hotaru. wink

I think all the new characters are great. Hotaru looks badass. I agree that he is a promosong character. He;s very unique and totally new to the MK series.

I can't wait to use him. I think he looks sick, and (hopefully) will play as good as he looks. I want Dairou to be his nemesis too, a new (sub zero / scorpion) rivalry looks imminent...

I like how, dispite what many people say, his flags look. The give you a sort of samurai feel to them because its pretty accurate to other samurai equipment. also he looks like he has the best storyline of any of the characters. and i agree that we need to pay more attention to new characters. people will soon enough use the characters with the best combos...so enjoy liking characters for their looks right now and stuff haha (just a little prediction bout the character choosing)

I think he's totally gay, he looks just like fujin and the flags on his back are a little much.....him and sindel have the same weapons which is kinda stupid but who knows....I'll have to see his special moves and how his kombat styles work so we'll see
