Who are these characters and what is this screen for exactly? Anyone know?

I know the shadow of one of them is Raiden, and one of the faces is Jax, but who are all the other characters? They don't appear to be anyone currently in the game.

I think this is a pause screen or something similar in the CHESS aspect of Kombat. Some of the chess pieces are healers, magic users, and such, and this screen might show what these characters do or what attributes they have.

Those seem to be screens of Unreal Championship 2 if I’m not mistaken. One of those characters seems to be Raiden and I don’t know who the other one is.

You are exactly right, if you read the news on the bottom I believe it said UC 2.

Yeah! Now I see it. You can see Sekhmet on the left hand side, Raiden in the upper right, I can also make out the Skarj. That's pretty cool.
