Having seen the pictures posted before, I think they are the same character. They're both in the karate stance (like Johnny Cage's MKDA one). Perhaps his name is Ben Kobra or something. IF I'm right, this leaves a new character slot open for someone we've not heard about yet.

I noticed too, and I think it would be dumb to have 2 characters that are almost the same... it would be like another "ken and ryu" thing going on and MK doesn't need that.

Yes, I pray to God they are one and the same... their similar stance also led me to believe that Kobra/Ben is one and the same character.
