I'll be satisfied when I master Sub-Zero: I'll beat MKDA on max with him alone.

Let me say this to all who practice alone.
You can spend 24 hours a day practicing on the hardest difficulty in any fighting game, and it doens't mean beans when it comes to 1v1 match. When you play a live player it's a whole new ball game. Knowing all the moves, and combos, etc.. will only benefit you if you get a chance to use them. That's the difference between learning AI tactics and playing Live opponents.
No AI is perfect. When you only practice with AI, you learn their weaknesses and then you take advantage of it...over and over and over...
However when you get to a high level of gaming with Live opponents you face tactics that gaming AI will never use (atleast not in any kind of MK game.)
So don't feel bad if you can school the AI on max difficulty but get rocked with simple, cheap, or high level gaming tactics of a human opponent.
There IS a difference between simulated randomness and human randomness that sets AI apart from live opponents.
Just watch the Daigo SF match that's floating around...AI won't be doing that often. hehehe.
I am hoping to get schooled when I go online. No amount of "practice with AI" will prepare me. The best I can do is learn what works and doesn't work once I go online, and adapt.
