I must admit I'm a bit surprise how goo Li Mei is turning out. If she has turned evil and is working for the DK, as her costume seems to hint, she might actually be a decent character.

Ashrah I never thought was a Rayden ripoff, connected to him in someway but not a ripoff, and she is turning out even better than I could have hoped.

Yeah I was suprised at how much I am liking Li Mei. Her look is great.

Yeah, I am looking forward to both of them as well. My *surprise* favorite would have to be Hotaru, but my obvious favorites are still Sub-Zero and Sindel.

Hey, I admit it I am surprised. However, I still think Li Mei was crappy in MK:DA.

Am I the only one who finds Ashrah more like KUNG LAO than Raiden? Whirlwind Spin. Torpedo (Kung Lao had it in Trilogy). Does she have a move where she can throw her hat too?

Ashrah is great! I've managed to see the vids with her fighting and I love her moves and her styles!

Li Mei is also surprisingly good. I'll wait to play as her to make a final decision as I still don't like her.

I thought Li Mei was pretty horrible in MKDA but the begining of her fatality looks promising in MKD and I am willing to give her a chance.

Well her armor costume seems to hint that she is indeed part of the Dragon King's army now, how she regained her human appearance is beyond me, but I must say that I am excited to find out what has happend to her from DA to now! I hope that she is evil, but in her story and Ending it shows her struggling to free herself and regain control of her body, and perhaps in her ending she'll succeed. And as for Ashrah, I must say that she is turning out to be most intriging indeed.

Li Mei was so bad in DA it wasn't even funny and she looks kinda retarded now, but maybe her 2nd outfit is better and hopefully she has better styles and better moves, then i might change my mind, but until then she is still garbage

i guess since Li Mei's Soul was placed into a skeletal warrior... the body formed in Li Mei's appearance. so it doesn't really baffle me on how Li Mei STILL looks like Li Mei even though it's not her real body

Works for me. Seems a logical assumption. I'm just glad she does look like herself, well not EXACTLY like herself....you know the screen shots they have updated from E3? It's in the first set I think, but one of the screens is of a loading screen with a close up of her face, I don't know if its a trick of light of the screen reflection but her eyes look...kinda reptillian to me, no?

But I'm still not sold completely that just because Li Mei is wearing armor that she's in the Dragon King's army.

Armor doesn't really mean much and if you want to be technical about it her armor really looks nothing like the armor worn by the mummified soldiers in DA. Not only is the color scheme totally different but the soldiers' armor are very samurai-esque not only with the helmet but also with how the rest of the armor is constructed. Li Mei's armor really doesn't look samurai-esque at all as much as it just looks like style-ized armor with an Asian looking flair too it. Not to mention in DA there was a concept for her wearing battle armor so maybe they're just using that unused costume design.

After all is said and done though I won't dismiss the thought that she might be in the Dragon King's army, but I won't fully accept it either until it's official.

I was watching the Chess Combat movie, and one of the loading screens showed Li Mei using some sort of power to trap Nightwolf in an energy cage Edit: Nevermind about ^... it was just the chess loading screen...*phew* lemme calm down hehe ... if that doesn't prove she's working for the bad side, i don't know what does.
Plus, her eyes are that of the dragon kings...
Plus, her face doesn't say "I'm fighting for my village ppl to free them" anymore...
I am 99.9 sure that she is working for DK or at least has evil intentions.

Yeah, but did you happen to catch that close up of her eyes Truth? Maybe she's not part of his army, maybe after the DK was revived he restored her body and took her as an unwilling bride? I don't know Big Bads are alway doing stupid stuff like that, so maybe to get her to comply he had to possess her or something, One thing is certian however her eye's definitely are NOT human anymore.
