I think was more of the BOTS clan like. As in she is my sister by meaning very close friends.

in my opinion ashrah IS sareena, jataaka and kia are her sisters, it makes alot of sense if you think about it...
i mean... sareena wanted to be good, ashrah wants to be good.

was wondering the same thing. If Ashra does reveal herself to be Sareena then maybe she could turn Noob Saibot back into Classic Sub-Zero.
Since they had a love interest in Mythologies maybe she can somehow touch what human part of him that might be left deep inside.
Until Scorpion hears about it and then he'll probably just kill him again.

I always assumed jakaata, kia, sareena and ashrah were sisters, real sisters...but its really interesting assuming that sareena is ashrah...

Ashrah actually being Sareena is possible and does make sense, even though you'd have to ignore Sareena's MK:TE story.
Personally though, I hope they are separate characters. Partially because I want Sareena to be her own character and I'm usually hesitent about "character x is really character y," but mainly because I think Ashrah and Sareena meeting and fighting/teaming up would be a good story.
Assuming Ashrah and Sareena are different characters, I'm not sure if they would be sisters. According to Ashrah's bio she killed all the demons Quan Chi sent after her, including her sisters. So considering what's happened to Sareena, I'm not sure how she'd fit in. I wonder if they've even met each other at all.

I forgot who said it but if u look at the portable board someone confermed (When i asked) MKTE ending are canon so she cant be sareena. however i do agree there some connection. i would think more along the lines all 4 of them being sisters and in the end a big 5-way storyline between noob,smoke,sub,sareena,& ashrah. hopefully ending with Smoke & Sub being reunited. and sareena's ending kind of would help this matter. ashrah killed all the demons meaning jatakka & kia would be dead. but sareena is with sub-zero and would be her alibi why she isnt dead.

I dont think Ashrah and Sareena are the same person. i dont think they are sisters either. I think Ashrah means sister as in fellow members of a group. Like the Brotherhood are all brothers.
Plus, In konquest mode, Sareena is present in her MKTE outfit when a Brotherhood emeber send u to look for her, and Ashrah is also there. They're seperate. If they were the same person more than likely we'd find out in Konquest.
There stories do sound very similar tho. But hopefully Sareena will come back in the next game. I really like her and her background and her history. Was disappointed that she, Kitana and Sheeva never made it into MKD.

The thing is, that Sareena would never become truly good. She has a very
deceptive nature, and maybe, if you're looking at the endings, he will trick
Sub-Zero into some serious trouble, altough, she don't wants to hurt him
eventually.
Since when did Sareena act good? Maybe she is just as neutral as
Scorpion.

i think that sareena or asrhah might be scopions wife or daughter's that would be a good twist when you take into acount of sareenas ending from mkte geting vengeance on sub-zero or it might be the reason ashrah wants to leave the netherrealm to see socrpion again

I know I hinted at the "Ashra is Sareena" angle but now that I think about it I seriously doubt it's possible.
First of all Sareena's storyline contradicts this in Deadly Alliance TE . That would mean we would also have to ignore Noob's TE storyline and it is very important. We can't ignore this. If it's in any game then it's canon.
Second you have to take Ashra's storyline into consideration. Her entire Deception storyline takes place in the Netherrealm. She is the only kombatant that does not participate in the events in Outworld against the Dragon King. The whole point of her storyline is that she is trying to somehow escape the Netherrealm (Sareena did so by a portal). Only during her ending does she finally accomplish this.
To be truthful, I'd love to see Ashra dropped from the next game and Sareena brought back. I also love the idea of her being Scorpion's daughter.
