You know, all of these new characters and returning characters are great and all, but as more and more Kombatants get piled on, it just kinda seems like we're getting more of the same.

For example, tt rocks hard that Ermac is back, but Kenshi has his telepathic moves, also (considering Ermac TAUGHT him these moves.)

Mileena AND Li Mei are in this game? Unless they change weapons on one of them, we'll have two sai fighters.

An American martial arts champion who travels around entering tournaments? We've already had that character, only he wasn't Ben. *cough* Johnny Cage *cough*

Noob is back, and in all past games he's had Scorp's moves. That's not to say that he'll do the same in Deception, but I guess you never know. That new Black Dragon girl, being Black Dragon, will more than likely have a knife throw and cannonball, considering they seem to be mandatory moves for all gang members to learn. If Kabal is back with his trademark hookswords, then he may use them the exact same way that Mavado did in DA, making it a rehash weapon style.

I'm fully aware that there are several new fighters that are completely unique to the MK universe (like Dairou and Hotaru), but I thought I'd just express my opinion that the MK Dev team is coming kinda same-y on the character concepts.

I don't really rely on what I hear in a mag or online for MK info too much anymore.Unless it comes from the MAN himself Ed Boon or any other person on the MK team. All because these charcters sound the same as old charcters dosen't mean they'll have the same moves and attitude.Li Mei might not have Mileena's sais this time around. If the rumors turn out true that Li Mei works for The Dragon King she could have a new weapon.

MKD isn't going to be like the past 2D MK games where the ninja's share the same moves. It's going to be alot diffrent. They've been working on MKD ever since near the end of 2002.
