I think Quan Chi is one of the most best villians ever, hes awesome. I hope he returns as well.

If scorpion is in MKD, then quan chi should be to. Because what else would scorpion be doing? Unless they changed his storyline.

yeah I really hope that Quan Chi will be in MKD, he is a character that is still fresh in peoples mind and who have a lot of potential both storyline wise and move wise.

I can't believe that he have not been included yet, bad move by Midway. I want Sonya in the game as well but I can understand her absence since she is from earth and deception look to take place in outworld, but in this case I can't understand why Chi is not in...

I do hope too that Quan Chi returns in MK Deception, as he is badass and esential in the storyline. I would pick him over Bo Rai Cho anyday!

I never cared for him, but now that my boy Smoke is back, it doesn't make a difference who else shows up.

This is what REALLY pisses me off. The fact that Midway picks lesser characters instead of the more popular characters that actually have a fanbase.

It's stupid to pick Bo Rai Cho over Quan Chi, stupid to pick Li Mei over Kitana. It's pretty stupid and I know I will be royally pissed off if Quan Chi dies in the intro.

I still can't believe that Shao Kahn isn't coming back considering how popular he is.

I hope Quan Chi returns, although I liked him better in MK: Mythologies and MK4 where he was a shadow player who hid in the background and manipulated others. IN MK:DA he seemed more like a typical villain.

Im with temporaryusername, Smoke is back and thats all that matters. Quan Chi, I couldnt care less for him, I dont really see him as being more unique then lets say kabal, noob, smoke, ermac, or nightwolf.

Actually, people are glad that Shao Kahn isnt coming back because he has lived past his prime, and so there's room for the Dragon King. It's not that they (or I) hate him, but he was old skool. Times change, people change.

I liked quan chi better in the earlier games. I did not like him as much in DA, i hope they make him cool again

not to be rude but why do you like Smoke? he is just another ninja with scorpion moves, sure he have a cool look but with him the game have like 6 ninjas(including mileena), this game is getting boring

Good story, excellent novelty, freakishly high potential in moves and gameplay, and simply a cool a concept.

And Daemos: I agree with you about Bo Rai Cho, but:

A) Speaking of "pleasing the fanbases," Smoke has a huge fanbase, and has for a long time.

B) Kitana has been in how many MKs? There a lot of characters that are just now getting the attnention they deserve. I don't agree with all the choices, but lets be realistic.

C) Li Mei is all up to opinion. I thought she was cool, but I know a lot of others think differently. Fair enough. But I'm extremely glad she returned.

I don't think they'll be killing Quan Chi quite yet, even if he doesn't appear in MKD. Of course even if he died he just be sent back to the netherrealm, where he came from in the first place, and could easily escape again. He's crafty like that.

Shang I could see missing for awhile, seeing as his trademark ability to morph can't be done on current generation systems. If the Liu Kang ghost thing is true we can assume something bad happened to Shang.

I think Quan Chi is walking on thin ice now. I personally would have him back, but I think they need to do something with him.

id be 100% happy if the mk team would add kitana kung lao,quan chi and shao kahn.....and to the guy who said shao khan is past his prime.. he was only in 2 games.. he deserves to be in 1 more,not as a boss though.it should be easy to make him playable in 3d since hes tall and large,just his moves shoudn't be that powerful!!!

Well seeing as new footage shows Scorpion and Quan duking it out on the board game, we might just see Quan Chi in one way or another. This may mean you'll be stuck with his DA form/moves and he'll have no story, but if they bothered to implement his full DA form for the board game it would be stupid and insulting to his fans not to least have him unlockable for versus.

They again they may have just used DA characters as placeholder to test the board game out. This does pose an interesting possiblity though: that some of the DA characters who didn't make the final cut might still be available in their DA form.

Shes been in many but not as the original planned characters. She always gets added later on when they put out a different version of mk. In MK2 she was there from the beginning. She wasnt in MK3 until UMK3. Then She wasnt in MK4 until they brought out MKGOLD. In MKDA was when she got a chance to be there from the beginning. All im hoping is that she will return in MKD.
