you dont have the lockpit tools? ..... oh gosh you *appear* to be a little out of the loop... Earthrealm is where all this takes place and you get the lock pick tools from talking to the old lady that stand outside of her house *only* in the daytime... you talk to her and she will say that someone is a burglar or something like that..(this is the same area the ninja is seen). meditate until the night and punch the burgler, he will drop the tools..... Earthrealm.

I read over at IGN that FOV 120 was something used in the game Quake.

agree that its not a ninja its that kid with the lockpick.. ive even outrun him a few times.. he just tries to sneak around for no reason.. he doesnt have the lockpic anymore...

well the reason i say it a ninja.. is because i had a few references to there being one... someone even said a name, (stupid me) didnt write it down or memorize it. I am hanging around earthrealm because i feel that there is definately a hot spot with hidden stuff...

hAS ANYONE TRIED BEATING Shang Tsung and Quan chi between the hours that the two fighters appear in the netherrealm? I tried to do it, Beat Shang tsung with ashrah, but i messed up and meditated, by the time i got to quan chi., it had already passed the time.. i am tring to figure out how to get over to those fighters...

FOV 120 is a setting applied to 1st person shooters like quake and unreal tournament. It means Field of Vision, and the number setting effects how pelipheral your vision is on the screen. For example the regular setting is FOV 90, but any gamer has the option of widening their on screen view by changing it to the highest setting: FOV 120, so that they can see more.
Boon, in my opinion said this only to confuse people and I highly doubt that this would have much, if anything to do with MK:D.

i think he was trying to get people to play midways stupid demo area 51. He figured if he mentioned fov120 people would associate it with FPS. Hence maybe like some of the people around here...look for SU in area 51. There are none in that demo...just boon getting a bonus from midway by getting more people to play that dumb demo

FOV happens when certain charters do throws... and as for the other dude.. its the old lady walking around, she did tell me about 2 stone tablets... i am not sure what the trigger was... i remember it was raining.

I used my old profile and the old lady said three different things. First she said she needed to get back to town before they closed the gates. She also said something about not feeling well. The third thing she said was something to the effect of, "You can't fool me with your pleasant words. I know you are a villian. Help. Help!"
With this profile I had beaten Konquest, had the White Lotus thingy, Raiden's Staff and had been a serious bastard. I pretty much punched everbody at least once.
I had another profile where I got bored and decided to redo Konquest. On this profile I was only to the point where you first go to Outworld. I decided to pay this old woman a visit and now she said something about the two tablets which spoke of a dragon king ruling outworld. She still said the same thing about not feeling well, and that she needed to get back to the village, but she never said anything about my being a villian. An interesting note is that I only punched a few people, and those were only in Chaos Realm and never did any side quests.

Sucks! Ed Boon and Developers should give us MORE hints, to unlock what's left in the game.
