It seems the Dragon King has a big part on why he(Blaze) was released from that lava prison in the volcano.

I believe that he will be back. We know the Dragon King is in MKD which means that Reptiles ending happens. Blazes ending had him continuing his mission after the egg hatched, therefore that is what he is doing. He should be back and we should learn what his mission was.
