Boons DLC for MK vs DCU

Per Ed Boon's Twitter page
he has been answering followers questions about DLC, in one statement he said there was 2 characters that were completed but couldnt be released because of issue with midway... then... when asked who was the two characters from user "major_kenny" he replied one of the two was quan chi... I think for license issue he can't reveal the 2nd character from the DC side...

just thought i share with everyone...

awesome, but i think i would rather have kung lao than quan chi, but what ever. I wonder who the other character on the DC side is.

Quan Chi's Model was already built into the game, so it makes it easier to unlock him

I thought he only appeared in FMV's, not ever in-game

I think this is the case. I seem to remember a person saying that someone had hacked the game and found out that the cut scenes were movies not rendered in game.

Not a huge surprise it was Quan Chi though really. I'm gonna guess the DC guy was going to be Black Adam. Mostly because he appears to be a palette swap of Captain Marvel.

It wouldn't surprise me if Black Adam is the other DLC character.

No, but it's most likely due to the legal trouble that their having. Also I just checked Ed's twitter page again and he revealed that Harley Quinn was going to be the DC DLC character.

If it was MK Vs Gotham City, Then yeah. Even then I'd suspect, Posion Ivy or Batgirl to be ahead or Ms. Quinn.

The advantage of Black Adam DLC is his punch a man's face through his skull fatality. *nods*

We'll never know for sure. Unless WB does buy Midway.
