I just think that we havent looked hard enough in the PS2 and X-box versions... I think if we look hard enough they must be in their, if not, thats just not fair! What makes gamecube cube so special? It just doesnt make any sense I hope we will get some news on whether or not the superunlockables are Goro and Shao Khan.

No they are not in PS2 Xbox versions, I would be surprised if they were, why make it so difficult to uncover them?

No.
No online vs characters isnt valid coz heaps of ppl dont have online. And PAL people wont even get the GC version either. So thats unfair to assume that everyone just has online and loves.
Also, these particular characters have all sorts of implications for old school fans... theyre not just new characters with new moves and styles etc etc
Oh and Im still not buying the GC version btw.

The thing that bothers me the most about this whole thing is that Why they chose 2 of the biggest MK Series fighters for GC version
they could have added rain, sektor, cyrax, kano, sheeva &..... & i wouldnt cared really
but Goro & Kahn are like the biggest MK Stars & us PS2 & Xbox owners dont even get to play em
I wanted to see the comeback of Goro & Kahn in ps2 first, not in some stupid kiddy console sad

Yes khan and goro are in the ps2 and xbox versions. To obtain them you have to first unlock the easter bunny and santa claus though.
In reality the article in nintendo power revealing they are both in the GC shows that they are EXCLUSIVE. For those who don't know what exlusive means it breaks down to this you won't see it on any other system besides the gamecube.
Personally I don't know why people are flipping out about it so much it's not the first time a mk game has been different on other systems including having bonus characters. Also historically the boss characters are generally incomplete. I'd really be interested to see how much they actually have if they even have other styles and their very own dial a combos. Will they be throwable in the past they havent been. If they aren't that automatically unbalances them badly. Honestly they will probably be just as broken, if not more so, than the rest of the fighting engine. I would hate to see the rants about shao khan and goro online if they were on xbox or ps2 if you think complaints about noob-smoke or bo rai cho are bad...
Forget the whole "no online" thing...MK fans who ONLY own a gamecube have had to wait months, and months...while every MK fan who owns a PS2 or X-box unlocks EVERYTHING....
and that's worth two more characters to cube owners, at the very least.

Since when is the Gamecube a kiddie console???? If I remember right, the Gamecube has exclusive rights to one of the best horror franchise, Resident Evil, of which the remake was the scariest damn thing ever and NOT suitable for kiddies... the graphics on that game were simply phenomenal, the best on any console, the reflections on the mansions marble floor were so detailed it was awe-inspiring. Also it has the upcoming Resident Evil 4 which will probably put the Gamecube back on the map even if I don't like the direction its taking, but still, no, definately not a kiddie system... its a fun box...

i have a gamecube and am getting an xbox. While i dont think gamecube is a kiddy system, its loyalists always get the shaft. A whole bunch of games i want never come out for it, or it takes months and months for them to come out on it and plus the lack of online play doesnt help either.

It was confirmed right off the bat, that there would be no PAL NGC release for MKD. Maybe you could find it in the news archives yourself if you really wanted confirmation, but i'm not sure how far back the news articles go.
(Forgive me if that was answered, I didn't read the rest of these replies)

do u know what the word "exclusive" means? appearently not. Shao Kahn and Goro arent SU nor will they be downloadable content for PS2 and Xbox cuz their EXCLUSIVE to the GC version. just stfu already. it aint a big deal. if u really care that much then u will get a GC and get the GC version of MKD when its released.
