I have a question however...
I have ER, ID, JO, KC left....
I went to H-5 on the 1/1/48 12pm but I did not see a chest for ER... or Yin-Yang symbol.
ID is the scorpion fight, which I cannot win right now.
JO says F-1 3pm, Tuesdays inside castle at another site... but this PDF says you get ALL komidogu...???
As for KC I went to C-8 at 4pm, but I did not see a chest or Yin-Yang symbol either.
Anyone tell me what I did wrong? Where is their EXACTEST location, please tell me!

I agree, learn some patients. It's not like Brady's guide owes you anything. I suppose if MKO did something similer, you would all be telling them to shove it. Time is what makes MK games so great. Time to learn, time to explore, time to test. The list goes on.

In my opinion, guides/walkthroughs should have been banned for this game. If they wanted to preserve the "aracade" nostalgia, MK should have not released any information until a certain point in time. Maybe a few months after the games release.
I know some of you just want to get through the game, but what fun is that? How can you feel satisfied when you are just following someone's direction on how to get through it.
It seems like this lack of information from the guide is proving to be more of a nusance than a help.

The days of the arcades holding secrets are pretty much gone. Back then, we didn't have the internet telling us what to do. I think Liu Kang would still be undiscovered by a LOT of people had it not been for the internet transmitting the information instantaneously as it does when someone finds something. The internet truly is amazing, although in times like this where we actually WANT secrets, it could be a curse.
Which is why I am watching the super unlockable threads and other brady games thread. There definitely seems to be something there. And if there is, MAJOR kudos to the MK team for hiding it so well and taking all of this infor sharing into account. Awesome job.

Thank God for BradyGames! Now I've FINALLY got an OFFICIAL guide to remind me of where everything was in my empty Krypt!!! Oh, happy day!

Why would you people think BradyGames got their info from other websites?
They have direct contact with Midway I am sure.
At least this guide tells you the time/location too, although not very very detailed.

There really isn't a reason to think that other than that it took them this long to get it up and every other site has had it up since a week or less after Deception came out.
Seriously though none of this is any surprise, or shouldn't be. This is why I don't pay attention to game guides anymore.

Brady Games is as official as you can get. and it does make sense to me they are not as fast as the fan sites.

everything on the sheet works. I'm the author and I've tried everything out. the only mistake is noobs fatality. it says (far) and should be (sweep)
{haven't tried, just read the fatality thing on another site. everything else works}

Most guides these days are obsolete compared to forums alone.
Anyone who buys a guide must be buying it for personal value because most of the info ends up some where like Gamefaqs.com. Don't get me wrong, I have guides mostly to fighting games and a few old platformers like Tomb Raider 2. These days I just don't see bought store guides useful. The guy at EB offered me a Paper Mario 2 guide and I told him "Nah I'm old school, I don't need a guide!" lol.
