I don't know if you all catched this but Mavado was responsible for the demise of Kabal. This was revealed in Konquest mode in MKDA. I really thought Kabal was a solid, good character. The hook swords really broght him to life. I really think that he should return for MK VI and face Mavado for "Dragon Clan" supremcy and for revenge. I think it would make a good plot point. Join me in my quest to bring back Kabal!

I think the idea of Kabal losing to Mavado is a bad idea, if you compare all of their special attacks to one another. Let's see, Kabal is able to run pass an enemy causing him/her to get really dizzy and vulnerable. Kabal has a projectile weapon, unlike Mavado. What special moves does Mavado have besides these spike things that come out of his trench coat?

i think mavado killing kabal idea was GREAT!!, its not like he is a real charcacter, its a 3-d fighter, and all they've done really is give kabal a better make-over. although rushed, in the next MK they could imrpove this charcter to even better kabal.

let him go, i like mavado, if all of kabals specials were given to mavado would you still want kabal? i wouldnt...

If Midway gave Mavado all of Kabal's moves then I guess the answer would be no. But then again, why would Midway do that?

To bring in return Kabal to avenge the clan of the Black Dragon is ridicule, therefore it helped Jax and Sonya in the destruction of exactly. it must come back yes, but to massacre Kano or some survivor of clan of the Black Dragon.

From playing MK DA, I pretty much got the impression that he was killed. I could be wrong.

Midway is very clever on how it TRIES to kill off characters, it uses the word apparant and apparantly a lot. Well judging from the konquest text I have posted below this, it does not say Kabal was killed, but it does leave an impression that he was. Here is the konquest line

Like the Black Dragon thug, Kano, Mavado uses a double-weapon fighting style.
It is rumored that Mavado acquired his Hookswords from the former Black Dragon
member, Kabal, after a vicious battle. Even though Kabal had only been a
member of the Black Dragon for a short time, Mavado had sworn to eliminate
him.

Kano had heard of Kabal's apparent demise at the hands of Mavado. He would
have killed the Red Dragon warrior had he not been trapped in Outworld all
this time.

It finds that Kano would make this for a member that never was reliable of it?
