I had an idea how Midway could bring Liu Kang back into the game without having to resurrect him. His MK1 Profile says that he has a younger brother somewhere out there. Wouldn't it be possible to bring him into the game with Liu Kang's moves? Come on, the Tekken series has done that since part 1 (Kazuya>Jin, Jack2>Gunjack).

I don't know if this idea has been posted before, but please understand that I didn't want to read all the threads...well, what do you think about that idea?

It's a bad idea to bring Liu Kang's brother into the game and give him his moves.

Well he could at least have Liu's Fireball...or the Bicycle Kick. The Flying Kick is already given to Sonya.

yeah, he could have some moves the same, but i thought the best thing about MK:DA was the twist where he got killed.

I agree with UReiko. Shirt_ninja, if you wanna scroll down a little and read my post, I have an idea for bringing Liu back... without really bringing him back. He should have all new moves, though I admit I haven't taken the time to actually think about what they should be.

Forget his lil brother, they should just bring Liu back plain and simple. First of all he should of never have died and second if J.Cage could come back why not Liu? See everyone hates on Liu for bein the Champion of MK... Get a life!!! Obviously he's the sh!t so let him be what he is!!! He can't help if his friends can't fight as good as him. Maybe the special forces need to step it up instead of letting Liu go!

No, everyone dislikes Liu Kang, because, of the fact that the story of Liu Kang winning every "tournament" got lame, boring, and repeditive.

I like Liu Kang as a fighter, and probably, most of the people that wanted Liu kang dead, liked him as a fighter as well, they just got tired of the same lame story. If Liu Kang was going to win every MK "tournament", then they didn't need any characters except the boss and himself.

The only reason J.Cage came back was because of Shao Khan's Earthrealm invasion. Plus, as said before, killing Liu and Shao Khan was the twist of DA. I also do think that Liu's little brother should come into action.

What if the twist of MKDA showed Quan Chi and Shang Tsung killing off Subzero? You would lose interest in the game wouldn't you? Thats how I felt about Liu because he was one of my favorites. Nobody thinks about if their favorite character was no longer in the game. Imagine Matrix without Neo or X-men without Wolverine...

Bringing Chow Kang in and simply give him Liu's moves so he'll basically be Liu?
Well, may I remind you of Jarek.

As for the usual ''if Cage cames bak y no lui comes back ass well?'' excuse, Cage died- not because the game makers really wanted him to, but because of the whole issue with the actor. Liu died because the game makers wanted him to. No one forced them, or anything like that.
So if the MK team really wanted to put out Liu, and if they do read what people are saying in these boards (unlike Liu, Cage had alot of people pissed off about his death), they wont bring Liu back.
