if you have hail marry on your a newb , dont camp in the same spot, the fact that your opponent gets a kill replay gives you away.

I knew about the camping being scrubbish from playing Counter Strike on Xbox. I mostly play Deathmatch because I'm bad for recognizing my teammates in team modes. People who camp never get enough kills to place in the top 3 anyways. Can friendly fire be turned off? Or does gunfire do damage to teammates?

One more thing, what is a "hail mary"? I never heard of that before.

yes, you can turn it off, team deathmatch is good to get better. as for hail marry, just notice the newbs that drop a grenade when they die. lol its funny.

Oh that's what that was? lol, I thought that was an upgrade like pulling the gun out before the character dies. Good to know.

it is an upgrade, but there is much more usefull things than having hail mary on, its pointless tactics. lol only newbs get caught by newbs this way

I have now been promoted to Gunnery Sergeant 1. This is my third "day" of playing this game online and I'm starting to kick ass. I got 1st place a couple times in deathmatch, half the time I was placed in top 3. I'm mostly playing free-for-all, I still suck at team deathmatch. I keep mistaking my enemies as allies, lol. I'm going on COD4 now. You can find me in free-for-all as MEATHOOK23. Later

this game is all about locking down the other teams spawn. what you want to do is shoot them when they come out of the spawn but dont go in it.

if your team goes to deep into the other teams spawn it will flip side and they will start to spawn behind you. your team will then have to try and relock down the other side.

camping is one of the best strats to use in the game. you just have to find the right spot.

the gun i like to use is the g360c with red dot using deep impacked, 3 stun nades, stopping power. also use 3 shot burst with any gun.

also use whatever it gets you the win. there is nothing noobish about killing someone before they kill you. no matter how its done. as long as you have more kills then death you are helping your team.

I'll stick with classic free-for-all....

I won't be playing COD4 any time soon, or PS3 for that matter. I went to turn it on one day, and it didn't work. My PS3 is officially crapped out. I'll be getting a new one around the beginning of July. I think I'll have to create a new ID, but I'll still go by Meathook.

No, you have to make a new ID. The PS3 (same with xbox and PS2) save all of the gamertags and stuff like that in the online server. All you have to do is when you go to sign-up, click on "existing ID" or something like that, put your name and password, and you're done.
