I'm reserving judgement until I get the game...However, if you seen MK:C there is another female Black Dragon name Jola, I hope that Kira gets her dragon fire blasts including the black dragon 'shadow' around her. I know the TV and the game are two different stories, but the creators of MK often get ideas from movies, TV, etc.

I agree that the MK team seems to be putting much more effort into character design, which is definitely a good thing given a few of the stale characters in MK:DA (I'm looking at you Hsu Hao).

I have a sinking fear that Kira will play like a combination of Kano and Sonya. She has Sonya's build, and she's black dragon. I can already see the cannonball and the kiss of death lol.

Still, she could definitely be good, if the MK team makes here unique enough.

I agree, Kira has the potential to be great, I hope that they don't make her a cross between Sonya and Kano. Make her original give her her own moves.

She could be, as long as they get her story right and make her somewhat decent style wise and move wise. I hope she doesn't turn out to be a sort clone of anyone or have any borrowed moves. She needs to be unique. Given the new characters we've seen, I think she'll be pretty good.

Kira will surely be one of my favorite's if she keeps the traditional heart rip fatality that every black dragon member has done in the past (besides kabal).. It would be interesting to see a female implement that fatality and I could see it happening.

All the new characters that have been revealed so for look promising, and I think Kira looks the most promising of them all. She can become a very good character if they make her unique. I don’t want to see her doing that cannonball move or any other move that Kano has. Being in the same clan doesn’t mean they fight the same way or use the same moves. Make her unique then I’m sure she will be great.

So far, I've got high hopes for Kira. She looks cool, I just hope they don't ruin her like Jarek by giving her other people's moves.

I've never been a fan of the black dragon. I've never liked Kano that much. To me the only thing cool about him was his fatalites, the same goes with Jerek. I hope this new Black Dragon babe breaks the chain and have something of her own to give to the MK world.

No I think Kano is and always will be the best Black Dragon member-- and just to note Mavado isnt in the Black Dragon clan.
