And plus Kabals mask wasn't just any mask, it was respetory mask, he neede it to LIVE.

When you read Malvado's profile and it says that he killed Kabal, its all just a cover up. Someone that no one knows as of yet has an unbelievable healing power. Thus repairing Kabal in his new state...Malvado.

Wow! Some theory.

Well, I think there's a serious possibility there. I mean, what if Mavado decided to poison the Black Dragon by entering it using a disguise. He would put on a respiratory mask and tell everyone it was essencial to his survival, so no one would ever try or suggest for him to take it off. That way, he could know everything they were planning, and their capacity (weapons, money, etc.). Then, after MK3, when he left thinking Kano was dead, he returned to his old identity, since the Kabal cover was no longer needed. The Hookswords had been given to him during his Black Dragon training, he liked them, and decided to keep them afterwards. Therefore, he said that he had gotten them from Kabal, so no one outside the clan would think it was strange for him to wear the same weapons as Kabal...

Kabal used to be a member of the Black Dragon untill he dropped out and went on his own. Later on, Shao Kahn invaded Earth and sent extermination squads to kill everyone on Earth.

Kabal ran into one of Extermination squads which were a group Centaurs (Motaro's race from MK3.) Kabal was beaten nearly to death but due to some of the Black Dragon's illegal technology Kabal put on the high tech respitory mask and that kept him alive.

Kabal's whole meaning in MK3 was that he was pissed off and wanted revenge on the guys that beat him nearly to death and that was that. I don't see why everyone is obsesed with him. Kabal basicly had the same story as Johnny Cage in MKT exept Johnny Cage actually died but came back.

If Mavado killed Kabal it would be for some reason. I think that reason would be that he used to be a member of the Black Dragon and he was killed because he was associated with their plans against the Red Dragon.

just to point something out... his name is MAVADO (no L). but I remember like a year ago or something... his name was first Malvado, but they later took out the L.

There never was a Mavado in the Black Dragon when Kabal left. Then Kabal was attacked and left lifeless and scared by Shao Kahn's forces. The mask, as everyone knows, was used to keep him alive. Once Kabal had the energy to seek his revenge, he ventured out. On his journy his came accross an odd looking figure and could not make him or her out. Before he knew it he was out cold. This person has a great healing power and used it on Kabal as pitty. When Kabal came too, he no longer had a mask on and his face was smooth and normal. He decided to take advantage of his great new look and make a new name for himself. He decided to call himself Mavado. When he made it back to the Balck Dragon he explained himslef to the other members. They all belived him for some reason. His new quest is to find this source with the healing power and to have him join forcess with the Black Dragon. This man with the Healing power is known be few as K-Jaro. He took pitty on Kabal because he has to wear a mask to cover his ugly face. " It's just my theory any way".

That would not make sense, in the actual game it said that "Mavado" killed Kabal in combat and took his weapons...

I told you it's just a cover story.
