Can You die in Konquest mode?

I have been thinking about this for the past couple of days. Suppose you get killed in a fight or fall into a lava river that can be seen in the trailers. Do you think you will get a gameover? confused

I'm guessing you'll wake up at the local hospital type thing and you'll most likly lose coins and such.

It would probobly just take you back to where you were most rescently i doubt you'll get a game over but anything is possible with 20 hours of play and such an expanded region.
