Yes, I definitely don't think it's gonna be something you that you can complete and a day or two or even three. Konquest is most likely gonna be a very long process. Also as far as not being able to go back thing, The events don't have anything to do with your age as I've come to understand it...The events are linked to a certain time of day in a certain part of any given realm. So No matter what age you are if you arrive at that spot, at the right time of day..Then the event will occur.

yes, but say you miss the event, and the event unlocks a character, you can't go back or do it with a new character, can you? that means if you miss the event forget the character, though i do not think MK would do that.

No they wouldn't do that, it would make it to easy to miss a lot of things. I think the Same event will take place at the same time every day. Like Every day at say 5:06 PM Scorpion will be by a certain building, until you've found him and completed whatever the task is, then he won't appear there anymore.

That seems the most logical, the only way you'll get the most out of Konquest no doubt.

lets just hope because right now i think that konquest is going to be the most complained about when the game comes out, with the "not that involved" apperance selection, the one character, and only making male human monks. lets just hope they do what you said tomtaz, so there will be less people complaining.

it says in the MK DECPTION preview at Gamespot that you'll be able to buy stuff in konquest..maybe that means clothes and weapons?

does anyone know if you can only make one character or can you make more

yes it probably does, but i think that is just plain stuff, not clothing from characters.

you earn money... go to local shop... buy ninja uniform

Well I think that if they bring back the profiles for MKDA you'll be able to make one character per profile so you could make like five different profiles and then just load the profile with the created character you want to use. At least that's if the Profiles come back.

I just hope they have a section in the character selection screen that says "load karacter" and you can load one character from as many as you want

Sorry about that i thought you just ment a regular ninja costume. maybe they could do what the game Animal crossing did, every day there was a new unique piece of furniture. in this game every day there could be a unique peice of apperance or a unique weapon or fighting style that you could learn from a book. this would also make exploring hidden areas fun because you may find a book for a neat style.

might have, but ed boon said you will earn money in konquest

yes here how the money goes .


so far i know you can use the money to change your fighter a little bit.

the money is also used to buy a new move not yet on that fighters move list,(unless you have to learn it by meeting that person, not sure)

and the money is mainly used for or lets say coins used for the krypt which will be in the konquest mode, in a certain dojo.

you can only have one monk per profile duh. thats obvious.

and there are guards , other non playable monks guards animal things, different races, like reptile or vampires, that will be in the different realms.

also u have to meet certain ppl not only at a certain time, but a certain day of the week.

if they say u have to meet scorpion on day 7 at 5:30 once day 7 passes you wont meet him.

i guess you have to play through it again even when u beat the konquest the first time.

( i bet people like khan will be one of the hard ones to find.)

you wont find baraka in earthrealm.

I was never hyped for MKDA i knew it would suck cause its was a base game and like all base games(new game with new gameplay where team starts from skratch) will always be in stores with the unfinshed not enough time in the game release.

look at smackdown just bring it and RAW for xbox, perfect example for base game, they suck and not enough time with the game.

MKDA was like that, i knew it would suck, and was waiting fro MK:6 the whole time.

now that its here i knew it would kick ass, they havethe gameplay down form the last game and now they can actually have time to make this game.

this game will kick ass ppl dont worry.

all badasses in this game. skab looks cool. kabal will kick ass. i like the sound and loook that no earthrealm ppl human looking are in this game and alot of crazy looking ppl are in this game, takes away from the humans in MKDA and changes in this game.

anyway back on subj. konquest kicks ass

they wont be all given away in stregey guides or anything.

so we would have to work together to find these poeple and unlock everything.

WOW! thanks Iownyou, but you said that you will not be able to get all the secrets in the first try, but does this mean you have to delete you first monk and start over. I was planing on trying to make rain, in a simple form, if i do not get all the secrets i geuss i would have to delete him? that stinks

i hope the guy doesnt age physically because at the end of konquest who wants to play as a 60 year old fart and im gonna make more then one profile so i can create rain and reptile to finish the nija roster because i looks like there gonna be missing in action

no you wont have to delete the monk, you just will have to start konquest oever again after u beat it, it will proabaly say continue konquest but start at age 13 again. like the first konquest in MKDA you got koins for beating it, then u contiue from the begining again and could have still earned koins.

well you keep the secrets you found, when u beat through it the first time, but u can after beating the game start over at age 13 and look for the remaining ones that u didnt find.

but the ones u did find you wont have to get thoses again, cause u already unlocked those.

certain events u have to meet just to unlock a golden coffin in the krpyt, then buy the coffin.


its not like in MKDA where u can just buy a coffin if u have enough money for it, to get the last coffin in the krypt, you have to unlock that coffin to show how much money u need for it, then u have to unlock it again buy purchasing it.

BOON said ppl like kintoro and shao khan will be EXTREMELY hard to find and u will need help from friends or play through mutliple times to find certain ppl or certain moves, or certain hidden outfits.

depending on which route you take, you will get different outfits.

so EVERYBODYS MONKS WILL look different!!!

so yes dont worry konquest will be badass just cause it has 6 realms that all have a different atmosphere and u meet every MK person ever.
