Character concept for MK:D
In the forests of the Congo, a native tribe thrives to be the best. The best fed, the best defended, and the best morals. This tribe is known as the Black Stars and many of the men there are skilled warriors. One of these warriors, Salabanzini, was an underdog. He was said to have mass potential. Him and his tribe were dark blue skinned fighters and Salabanzini was very tall as well. He wore an animal skin skirt with a slightly painted face. He also wore earrings and spoke an ancient dialect. As a kid Salabanzini was faced with a war between tribes, this was a war over land. The Black Stars won this war but lost many men, one of these men being Sals father. Throughout his child hood Sal was raised on fighting by other male tribes men. Sal is now around 27 and very skilled in a few different styles of fighting including his Congo snake spear. As word now circulated throughout the town and many other tribes of an upcoming MK tournament, Sals interest were peaked. He wanted to prove himself a true fighter for common good and peace. To aid him in this MK tournament his ancestors blessed him with the power to levitate opponents and other objects.
