Errr... Kabal is in the left side, in the left of Kira (Kira is on the left of Hotaru). And Darrius doesn't appears in the select screen.

I think that isn't the final select screen, and Raiden will occupy the "place" of Shujinko, and Darrius the "place" of Liu Kang... and perhaps, another character (new or not) will occupy the "place" of Sektor, and this characters becomes secret characters, like others.

I bet the Character Select screen will be very different!

I agree that the Select screen will probably be different seeing as Raiden will need a spot and this pic obviosly does not give him that. I do think its funny how with each new movie relase from Boon and Co. they give subtle glimpses at new chars/arenas/alt outfits. I bet they love seeing ppl disect the moives and find the little tidbits... I wonder who in the Boon camp wins most of those bets hehe

First off, Kabal is on the very left of the character select screen and Sektor, who is classified under "K", is on the right side. You just have to look at things more carefully....

Anyway, there'll be a lot of unlockable characters in this game.

And yeah, perhaps the select screen will most likely change anyway, but Sektor WILL be in Mortal Kombat: Deception and no, I don't mean just in Konquest mode. I mean..as a playable character who will most likely be unlockable.

I think most of us have truely known about Sektor in Deception for a good couple months now. -_-

I really hope you are right cause I think Sektor would be a great character to play with the new system of fighting. Anyone have a link to a thread that dicusses the character selection pic and is recent enough to include peoples take on the source code in comparison?

Man, the way everyone makes it sounds, you'd think there will be five plus hidden unlockable characters. The MK team has never had that many before, but I hope this all comes to pass! I trust the mods and some of the people with inside sources, but everyone seems to agree that Sektor's in, so I'm trusting you guys. I'm glad too, cause he's a really good character.

As for the select screen looking different, I certainly hope so. The way it is now looks way to bland and boring. I wish they'd animate the characters when pass over them and select them etc. That'd be sweet. Also, the black and gray on the select screen just seems so dull. Same goes for the main screen. I mean, the one for MK:DA had sort of a DVD look to it. You select something and the screen moves to a different area, I thought that was sweet. Hopefully, the main screen and select screen that we've been seeing since E3 are just place holders for the real visuals we haven't seen yet.

BTW my post is in response to a post I saw a few weeks ago where ppl attempted to name the shaded out chars and the poster named the left middle one as Sektor so I presented my case to prove otherwise TY kindly

Well, I'm glad to hear that Sektor will be included. I'm just wondering why the development team is being so secretive about just him.

There's been so much speculation, "sources", and bogus confirmations that if Liu or Sektor aren't playable we'll NEVER hear the end of it. I can easily see this being the new "final secret" of MKD. If they're not in it everyone will be freaking out insisting he must be hidden because he was "confirmed".

what is the biz about sektor is he really in the game or what
