This site is dedicated to my good friend smoke, who people are against. I think he will be the last news of MKD, because he just plain and simple stirs up so much contreversy. All smoke talk should be made on this page thread. Thanks.

Smoke is one of my all time favourite MK warriors, i've been dieing for him to be in MKD, and now hes in it, i'm dead happy.
I'm gonna have to think up a story for him, but i'm thinking he might help subzero battle the tekunin and red dragon.

It is Smoke's time to return, except he needs to be Smoke and not a Cybernetic Ninja or Scorpion Clone.
I would like to see Smoke return, deformed and pissed off. Maybe he became deformed due to the experiments conducted on him by the Lin Kuei. I imagine he has tried to remove some of the cybernetic parts, but not all of them. maybe he couldn't remove some of the parts because they are vital to his survival. I don't know, just a thought.

I like that "self-help" idea alot. I just don't want him to end up looking like Cyrax does in his somewhat human form.

I personally hope Smoke isn't it. The character didn't do anything for me. Too un-inventive, IMO.

I see what you mean Ether. In my head I imagine Smoke with most of his mask taken off in a crude fashion, most of his chest plate still intact, one of his arms being human and the other cybernetic, and both his legs are robotic, but heavily damaged. Maybe ripped circuity that could spark during battle or somthing.

smoke has always been one of my favorites... but i would like to see him as human smoke... but he needs to not be a scorpion clone... they need to re-invent his moves and give him his own traits and expand on his story... i think he has alot of potential as long as they don't leave his story small... and his powers being identical to scorpion... and he needs to look different as well... completely revamped look but still smoke.... if he's got to be cybernetic than i agree with the above about being damaged and human/robot.. but not gay like cyrax looked...
Konqrr already has hinted that he knows what Smoke will look like, so I'm guessing he'll be in. The only things he mentioned in the recent german mag article that he wasn't sure of were Raiden, Ken, and the female Kano.
I do hope Smoke keeps his trident spear. Other than that he should have nothing in common with Scorpion in any way, so he can shake off the clone stigma a least a little.

I completely agree. The thing about Smoke is that he hasn't been re-introduced since around five or six years back. And they knew from the beginning he had a vault of potential, with both his story and his myst ability. His extremely large fan-base wasn't a secret either.
Really, it was just a matter of time before he returned. I have full confidence that he will be awesome... if he's a select screen character. If he's hidden, then we're all fucked.

I like ether ́s idea. and since midway making all their character much much more cooler, he would look more badass then ever.
