In the movies, Liu's brother was named Chen. The truth is that I don't want Chow Kang to be in any of the MK games, because I don't think that would work. If Chow were to take his brother's place, then Kung Lao's storyline wouldn't be so great. I think that they should just stick to one Shaolin monk for now.

Yeah, when Kung Lao and Liu Kang were in the same game, they sort of 'took away' from one another in my opinion. Granted, Kung Lao is MUCH more original looking that Liu Kang was, but Chow will probably look something like his brother, so he really won't be able to compete to be a strong character. His storyline would be similar to Kung Lao's, he'd be looking for revenge against Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. I did here 'rumors' of several characters that were going to be in MKDA, but that was a LONG time ago when I heard this one. Still, perhaps one day this could work out, it would interesting to see the brothers going against one another at some point as well.

And about Chow Kang, I think he'de be pretty pointless to the story.

If he does, he should have different attire, and he should sound exactly like in the movie...none of this annoying high pitched Huaa Huaa crap that made so many people hate him in the first place.

I want to see how Chan Kang would be in Mortal Kombat games.
But that would be stupid to put him in there though.

yeah that would be awesome. her weapon stance could be the 'tidy up'. She could throw irons and dinner plaates at people, everything but the kitchen sink.


Mortal Kombat characters are ment to be super natural elite warriors. Bit freaky if there was two of these supernatural warriors in the same family?

I wouldn't want Chow Kang in MK6, I've had enough of Liu Kang as it is. It would be kind of nad in the fact that they didn't think of something completely new and original as well.
