Classic Sub Zero will he return in Deception?

Ever since MK trilogy I've wondered who classic sub zero is if not himself? He did have an ending in that game so I really need some closure with him. Maybe he was Frost or Sareena? Any ideas or thoughts on this topic would be great because I'm very lost on this part of the MK history. Thank-you.

I think im one of the few people left that thinks the classic sub-zero is himself, well since no one else can provide proof Im closer to being right than anyone else grin

Anyways I believe I saw a picture of the classic Sub-Zero in konquest, even if Im wrong about the picture he'll definately be in konquest and Im sure we will learn a thing or 2 about him.

It would be a good idea, but since there's already one Sub-Zero who's everything Classic Sub could be there's no need.

Unless the current Sub dies Classic should stay dead.

To differentiate:

MKI Sub-Zero: Appeared in MK Mythologies and MKI. Died at the hands of Scorpion.

Sub-Zero II: The one we all know and love. Scar across eye.

UMK3 Sub-Zero: Appeared in UMK3 and Trilogy. Ending revealed that he was in fact actually someone else entirely, identity was never disclosed.


He's talking about the third. IMO, we'll never ever know, but I have my theories. Maybe Konquest will tell us.

The story Classic Sub-Zero had in Ultimate3/Trilogy meant nothing, Boon + Co just needed to make a random untrue story to justify using Classic Sub-Zero's special's, fatalities and costume.

Boon never should have killed off classic Sub in my opinion. I think that Sub-Zero would be even cooler (pun intended) if classic and current were one in the same character.

True, you could have Sub-Zero fight for money from Mythologies then survive MK1 and learn the ideals of honour and justice that younger Sub-Zero knows now.
