Hey..I'm back after a vacation and a book full of sketches! Yup! And I'm going to hold a competition, of who can do concept art for a character that might appear in MK6...ande whoever's looks the best, will win. Of course there's no prize in this competition, but the winner will have the best concept art and will be more known.

There will be guidlines though...

The characters are as follows:
Ermac
Rain
Smoke * Human and Cyborg) if you're doing smoke
Any ninja----Male or Female
Dragon King
Baraka
Kabal
Stryker
Motoro, Sheeva, Goro and Kintaro

These characters are the concepts that can be done...

what about NEW CHARACTERS?
and you should just make it for any mk character..returning or orginal...id like to see a contest that has new orginal artwork of new characters..and who ever has the best character wins. that would be cool.

i just got finished sketching the concept for my new character "jakob" and i'd like to enter him into the contest but the thing is... i can't draw. his outfit looks tight but i cant draw heads and boots. he has the body of an Xman with a dragonball lookin face and no feet, haha. but he is tight. imma find someone to scan him

Old characters only, I want to see what people can come up with as new designs that haven't been used yet.

And if you want, you're new character can be entered as well.

i could draw pretty good, i could probrably draw someone like Kitana or something...but i dont have a scanner,...sorry guys

ok..so how exactly is this gonna work? you want us to send them to you, or just post them ourselvs?..and can you have miltiple entries? like one old character and onw new character?


and what exactly is the point to all of this? if we dont get anything if we win, some people wont do it..so i suggest you talk it over with the mods so that the winner get like 10 dragon points....that means you could possibly get a total of 20 (by wining best old character, and best new character)
also, can we have a storyline written for the character?

I would have liked to enter but damn, why must we draw those characters? You pretty much picked the characters im least interested in drawing...But, I might enter, it's a cool idea.

Also, I actually submitted a new comcept sketch of Smoke to this site yesterday, I should of had kept it for this...

Sweet. I'll enter. I'd like to draw Smoke, as I haven't drawn an MK Cyborg yet. This should prove an interesting challenge to me. But you really should have an incentive to this contest.

Shoot! Now I have to go all the way to Kinkos to scan the picture, because I don't have school anymore. *Shakes fist at sky* Why is it that whenever something good happens, a negative situation is always one of the many offsprings!?
