Correct me if I'm wrong but MK:TE will be Johnny Cage's first game on a pocket system right? It just seems weird that he being a main character has never been in a hand held video game yet.

no... actually Cage has been in some other portables. It'll be his First game boy appearance tho. He was in MK1/Game Gear and MK1/Hand Held.

and if you really want to get picky... he's KINDA in MK1/Game Boy. Theres a gameshark code where you can play as him. It says cage in the lifebar, has a fireball move... but thats it. Not even his spirits (he uses Sonyas... of all the people).

No, he meant the spirits. In MK1 for GameBoy, Johnny Cage was actually a soul stealer who gathers spirits from other fighters and uses them as projectiles.
