How is that a rumor about MK7? Read the news section.

From what we've seen of Raiden he is charred and people think he is evil becuase of his eyes. He used the last of his power against the DK so maybe after he was wiped out the DK took him under his control and turned him on his friends. And that MK7 article isn't a rumor it is the truth they are already good to go with MK7

I believe Raiden will still be good despite his appearance. I believe he is just really pissed off at his failure to harm the Dragon King. Although it most likely won't be that simple knowing the MK storyline.

I think it'd be cool if Raiden turned evil or at least neutral. I liked Raiden best in MK1 and 2 when he wasn't the "Protector of Earth" yet and he was just a crazy pissed off mystical guy who shot lightning bolts at people.

I think Boon knew that giving Raiden charred clothing would make him look evil.

Maybe he is or maybe he isn't. I sure hope he is! I'm getting tired of the whole "good guy" God of Thunder gimmick.
