Could the deception be the reason we're seeing so many alliances?

Smoke and Sub have apparently reunited(not certain yet), Ermac may have also come to fight along side Kenshi, and Sindel seems to be coming to the aid of Kitana.

Keep in mind, none of this is confirmed, but it seems quite likely. Could the deception be so great that it affected most of the MK cast in some way or another? A lot of fighters who we would have guessed would have put their battles behind are now returning to help the forces of Raiden, or pretty much anybody who's against the Dragon King.

Anyway, your thoughts?

Well, you have some pretty good ideas, but I think its the other way around for the Ermac-Kenshi thing. I mean I think Ermac is in it for the ability to rule, and kenshi is probably going to step up to challenge him.

I mean if you were under kahn's control for so many years, youd be a little pissed off right? I think Ermac is gonna go evil in this installment personally but theres like a 90% chance im wrong lol.

I don't think kenshi would challenge ermac. Although it is entirely possible, but there would be no benefit in it?! Ermac helped Kenshi and taught him telekinesis.

I like Temps thoughts and agree with what is said

I think it has something to do with all the power the DK has.It might take alot of alliances to defeat him or maybe some of those alliances could be deception in it self.Long Live Johnny Cage.
Perhaps the alliances are the deception.
