Okay, some people say Raiden's dead. Other's say he just sacrificed his godly powers (i.e. he won't be able to throw lightning, teleport, etc.) HOW then, I ask you, would he appear in MKD as a playable character without his powers?

We all know what Raiden's story is, so you can skip that. What I want you to do is describe his appearance, special moves, weapon and fatalities. This should be a challenge since he no longer has electricity at his command. Here's my attempt:

APPEARANCE:
Physically he is still a big man - 7'0", 300 odd pounds. In his default outfit Raiden looks much like his alternate in MKDA - long flowing white hair, long robes - only his eyes have pupils. The robes have a "worn-in" look - slightly discolored and torn. His alternate outfit has him wearing his trusty hat again; other than that the outfit is the same.

SPECIAL MOVES:
Shoulder Slam - similar to his move in MKDA but without the special effects

Choke Hold - similar to "Shocker" from MKDA - no electricity

Tornado Kick - (yes, I know it sounds more like a move for Fujin ) Raiden jumps in the air and spins, landing both feet on the opponent

Ground Stomp - must block low or get dizzied

(I know those are only four and MKD is supposed to have six per character. I'm at work and I'm having to cut this kinda short.)

FATALITIES
Lightning Strike - Raiden may no longer have the power of electricity himself but he still has friends in high places who do. He stretches out his arms and gazes up at the sky (or ceiling, as it may be) and a thunderbolt strikes the loser, exploding him.

(Lame, hunh? :\ Watch it become Nightwolf's second fatality, I bet...)

Body Rip - Raiden may not have his powers, but he is still exceptionally strong - and this is showcased when he lifts his opponent by the shoulders and rips them down the middle.

HARA-KIRI
Raiden calls down lightning down upon himself.

I know some of these ideas are half-baked, but I hope that I've set this thread off in the right direction.
