Kenshi now has Judo, Scorpion Moifah and if you all notice, Bo Rai Cho now has sumo fighting style, which I think is great. We have our MK E. honda in the game.
I hope that Midway won't give old fighting styles ( From MKDA ) to new characters, because that would spoil all fun...

Some of the arts or styles used in DA are martial art staples. You couldn't have a fighting game without karate or muay thai, so to take them out them would be a bad move.
What i want to see though, is specifics, for example, instead of "karate", a character could have "shito ryu" and the moves could be less general, and more style specific which would open more fighting styles up (though i can see a horde of characters with various karate styles that differ only slightly from each other and have different names, which wouldn't be so cool).

In my opinion Kenshi doesn't suit judo, but should have Ermac's choy lay fut style, because of the low and stable "ma pu" type stance (assuming the choy lay fut depicted in MK:D somewhat resembles the actual martial art, it should have a low horse stance).

Wait...
I don't think any of that had anything to do with the actual topic.

Well one new character who looks like they have an old style is Kira. She was using Xing Yi. I believe she has the Butterfly Knives too.
