Damage caused by interactive elements?

Will your character receive damage when he is knocked down to another level or thrown through an object? In the videos people are thrown 5 stories off a balcony, smack against another rooftop, then hit the ground with out taking the slightest bit of damage. That doesn't make much sense.

Yes, players will take damage for coming into contact with the environments.

According to interviews and videos that have been released, Kombatants will receive damage of different quantities depending on the event.

There are things in the arena that cause damage:

The jewels in which the stage weapons are incased will cause minute damage when someone is thrown through it.

In the Netherbelly (An arena that takes place WITHIN the ship from Deadly Alliance) corpses hang from the ceilings.. These can be interacted with, kicked, punched, etc. When they come into contact with the opponent, they will cause damage.

Multi-tiers work the same way...

Other than that, they have other "traps" around the outsides of arenas. Not Deathtraps. Another area where you can be hurt but not immediately killed. These areas are marked in Yellow in the videos. (Characters in the jail will reach through, etc)..
