Like a lot of the characters in Konquest mode, Damashi exists as a guide to Shujinko's journey. It is he/she/it that gives his mission and his first look at the 6 realms. He's also, as people have said, a big glowing cloud. He will not be playable, nor likely ever mentioned outside of Konquest and Shujinko's bio again.
