Dead Pool Question

"Ow uh?" "Oh woah?" "Agua?" "Ah-ua?" "Aqua?"
I've heard many people translate what's said when an opponent is knocked into the Dead Pool (since its conception in MKII), but what is it really? And what is the purpose of it?

I was always led to believe it was "Aw, ma!" but its meaning, I have absolutely no idea. If I had to guess, I'd say there wasn't really a meaning.

I never actually thought it had any meaning, just a sound. Just like the "whoopsie" and "toasty" it was just something that was there. I was extremely glad when I heard it in Deception though, because I'd always wondered what the hell that was in MK2. They really went all the way on bringing back the nostalgia and I love it.

Anybody noticed when you fight in the Dead Pool arena, somebody is watching the fight on a balcony in one of the corners of the area, on the second floor?

that's what i always thought they said too!MK2 Shang is the one chillin on the balcony,btw

I always thought it was "Awwwwww" but he says it in such a way that it comes out like "Aww-waa"

It is MK2 Shang Stung chillin on the balcony above the deadpool watching the mayhem...god damn i love this game...

It seems to be either "Oh woah" or Ah uhh".
And yes, it's damn kool seeing Shang watching in both the Dead Pool and the Court Yard stages.
Too bad no Shao Kahn areas where in this game. Having Shao Kahn watch from his chair with Sonya and Kano tied up would rock. Plus hearing the crowd cheer you on for uppercuts and big combos would be a nice touch.

When I played Mortal Kombat II at the arcades it was always said that he said "Foul Ball"
I've always seen it written as "ow-uh", and it's MKII Shang Tsung. LOVE THE NOSTALGIA. Vega wants the Pit Bottom!
Oh, and BBR, what did Shang get Stung by? Scorpian perhaps, as some people suggest it's spelt.

In MK2 if you press down and start something happens but I don't remember what... or was that how you get him to say it... anyway, they say "uh-huh" in a british accent.
