Deadly Alliance introduced A Female Sub-Zero. Deception should have introduced a Female Reptile.

I definitely think that a female Reptile would be awesome as hell, and probably as fascinating as Frost was initially or better. Deception was suppose to be darker and creepier which is everything Reptile is to Sub-Zero.

I prefer her to be a female version of Reptile's human form. Her alternate can be based on his reptilian form.

She should have had some all-new moves but also different versions of some of his classic moves, except for the Acid Spit. I would have liked for her to have the same version of that.

I would have liked Hua Chuan and/or Snake for her.

I have her as a KAK, but of course it's not exactly as I would like.

Well, in a very vague sense, Khameleon is a female equivalent to Reptile in the sense that Reptile was introduced as a ninja with the ability to use the powers of other ninjas. Except Khameleon does this to female ninjas.

No. Khameleon is a female version of Chameleon, not Reptile.

I wanted a female REPTILE, not a female Chameleon cuz we already have that. There's nothing reptilian about her.

They're the same race though. While you're at it let's make a female Rain, Ermac, Noob-Saibot, and Scorpion.tongue

Well, the Reptile in MK1 took the moves of Scorpion and Sub-zero. So in a sense, she is a female Reptile.

I don't think a female version would suit all of these male characters, especially Scorpion. A "get over here" girl just sounds like a bad idea. Rain doesn't really have a lot to work with. A female making lightning is nothing that would wow people. Noob and Ermac, maybe. We have enough telekinetics already though.

That doesn't count. He became a full character in MK2 with distinct moves. And again, we all know khameleon is a female chalemeon. She was made thanks to him, not Reptile. I get what you're saying but there's never been a reptilian female and that half-assed version of Reptile doesn't count.

Personally, I'd rather see new characters be themselves and not be derived from original characters; with that being said, I thought Frost was a wasted idea when it was initially pitched years ago, and I wouldn't want to see it happen again with another character, including Reptile. If another Raptor should ever appear, I'd like to see it with new abilities explored, and not have things like the acid spit, crawl, and invisibility exploited.

I see what you're saying.

However, MK has always done a fantastic job of making female versions of classic male characters. Sheeva and Frost are female versions of Goro and Sub-Zero but they still have very distinct qualities and aren't lame copies of their male counterparts.

You might feel that Frost was a wasted idea but she has become one of MK's most popular characters to date, so a female Reptile might turn out to be an awesome idea as well.

She wouldn't have to have all of Reptile's exact same moves. Just maybe one or two of his trademarks but done in a different fashion, like Frost's ground freeze compared to Sub-Zero's freeze ball; Same move but done in a different fashion.

Reptile was missed anyway in Deception what with being Onaga's physical host, so a female Reptile would have done a great job of filling in for him since niether he nor Frost returned.

Some people prefer the finer things in life. I'm alright just hangin' out with the ghost of Vincent Price.

I'd prefer that they just make Khameleon more reptilian. Anyway, if anybody remembers Vogel said that the Zaterran in the sarcophagus from Reptile's MKA ending is most likely a new character when he was asked if was Khameleon to explain her absence at the time.

I don't think that means a whole lot because even he didn't sound sure about it and we all have our doubts about the canonicity of these endings. Anyway maybe you'll get your wish in the future.

You know what would have actually been good?

If Deception even HAD Reptile in anyway!
