What if all the pictures shown about MK deception turn out to be untrue + the list of characters and facts about gameplay are also false... well that would be called DECEPTION!

If anything I think the "Deception" would be that the information given to us is FAR LESS than what is/will actually be in the game when it comes out.
If Midway were to use "Deception" on it's fanbase/consumers, the only logical use for it would be for this "Deception" to be beneficial to the fanbase/consumers when all is said and done.
So any conspiracy theory that would potentially hurt BOTH us and Midway is completely out of the question.

Yeah, they're deceiving us into thinking that this game is gonna kick ass, but really it's gonna suck hardcore.
Like it'll take 10 minutes for the game just to load after start-up. And after picking your fighter on the character select screen, the game will say ''prepare for kombat.'' Then the controller will shake like crazy and the game will finally start, but all the character animation and graphics look like something from the Sega Genesis, and it has friggin 8-bit MIDI music like on the NES.

Have to remember that they have not confirmed anything. They have put out pictures and information through the magazines, but have never said that these are absolutes.
These are things that they are working on. Something will be changed. Some will be added, some will be removed. For some reason or another they will have to do these things. Mostly because of budget.
I think MKDA was really MK6. The version of MK after MK4 had to be totally scrapped. One reason they had to go to a name as opposed to a number AND why MKDA did not have a lot of elements in it that was supposed to be there. They had to totally rewrite the fight/physics/game engine.
So we can only hope for the best. But it loost like they are on track.
