Nah, I don't think that's a good idea. I don't find that interesting. Perhaps Older Sub-Zero and Scorpion can both be reborn as new characters.

No, I wouldn't find it interesting at all. I think Sub-Zero should be reborn as some sort of dark entity (not saying that I want him to be evil...but just a "dark" entity). I think he's a very mysterious character and if he were to be in MK6, he should have a rather mysterious storyline...but I wouldn't want to know him as Sub-Zero...rather a new name. The same should go for Scorpion. I don't really like the idea of having Sub and/or Scorpion being Oni.

Original Sub-Zero could be in the game under a guise of some one new. Seeing as his soul is able to traverse Netherealm, he probably went there after his demise. It never says he tries to redeem himself, it only states that after returning a fake amulet to Raiden, he is hired by Shang Tsung to compete in Mortal Kombat. I think that if he were to return he would take back the Amulet of Shinnok and go after the Dragon Medallion. That way there is no way Scorpion would best him this time. Hmmmmm....
