jarek - black "dragon"

mavado - red "dragon"

hsu hao - red "dragon"

reptile - the new "dragon" king

dragon king - "dragon"/ king

MK symbol - is a "dragon" head

liu kang - "dragon" transformation fatality

jax - after the red "dragons"

sonya - after the red "dragons"

kenshi - has a red "dragon" on his costume

kung lao - well since he's chinese and probably buddhist, his beliefs revolve around "dragons"

shang tsung and quan chi - formed the deadly
alliance to revive the "dragon" kings army

goro/kintaro/sheeva - half "dragon" half human (and tiger for kintaro)

there are probably a ton of others I haven't listed but those are the ones I know by hard.. it's interesting how MK has alot to do with dragons. Dragons rule!

Kabal - Ex "dragon" black

Reptile - Not the new "dragon" king, but perhaps a "dragon" look.

Reptile is the new dragon king because the prophesy says when the egg hatches the dragon inside must be killed by the dragon king but since the original dragon king died his sould needs a new body so when the light struck reptile the only possibility is that the soul now inhabits Reptile. who will in turn slay the baby dragon after it crawls out of its hatched egg to gain that power he was searching for before he died. Reptile IS the new Dragon King.

That prophecy is this?¿? confused confused confused

THE REAL LEGEND/PROPHECY IS THIS:
The Dragon King was an ancient ruler of Outworld before Shao Kahn's rise to power. He had formed the greatest army that realm had ever known. An army so powerful that it had never lost a battle. In an attempt to gain immortality and rule Outworld forever, The Dragon King commanded his holy men to hatch the last known Great Dragon egg. Legends told that drinking the blood of a newborn dragon would bring eternal life only if the dragon was slain moments after hatching. Unfortunately, the Dragon King died prematurely. His holy men loyally continued to incubate the egg with the intent of eventually reviving the dead king with the dragon blood. His army allowed themselves to be ritualistically slain and were buried in the pyramid along with their sovereign to be resurrected as well some time in the future. Generations of the Dragon King's holy men had been incubating the egg in secret ever since. As the prophecy had been told through the ages ... "Upon the birth of the last Great Dragon will the Dragon King return." Reptile tracked Cyrax and Nitara to the Lava Shrine as the vampire searched for the orb which bound her to Outworld. He arrived too late to exact his revenge on the pair. Suddenly an expectant hush filled the chamber as energy cascaded around what appeared to be a dragon embryo. The tiny dragon stretched and the egg cracked. A beam of energy ripped out from inside and lanced into Reptile. His world was filled with roaring power as his squamous body was twisted and transformed. The ancient prophecy had been fulfilled: the Dragon King had returned.

The Dragon King will revive thanks to the blood of the dragon that is born, and willn't have more form of dragoon than his armor.

i dont think there is a confirmation that reptile is the dragon king yet, personally, i kind of think that there will be a twist and liu kang will be the dragon king due to him transforming to a dragon before... and his timely 'death' in mkda...

I was well aware of the prophesy THANK YOU!!!! but explain to me where in your rambling that you entirely counter my argument. It says the dragon king will be revivied but did it say it would be in his own body? Speaking of which wouldn't his body be near the egg if that were so? Explain one more thing to me, why is Reptile important in reviving the dragon king if he were no the medium through which his soul returns? If you read the prophesy all that is important is the presence of the dragon king to kill the baby dragon RIGHT after it hatches and drink its blood. His body is no where near the egg so wouldn't it make more sense that his soul lay with the egg and awaited the arrival of a suitable body for him to take over. Don't treat me like a beginner son, I could be wrong but I know what the hell I'm talking about.
