Did Finally a MK COMIC BOOK Character make the cut in Deception??? Siang!!!
Well, Im more then sure its Nightwolfs new alt costume, but if you have read the MK Malibu comics, you MUST know SIANG!
Siang looks EXACTLY like that new Pic of Nightwolf we have just seen, and I mean EXACTLY like him!

Sing and Sang become the one called Siang:
They/him are just unique. They/him were introduced in Mk Blood and thunder comics. They are two twins from the Order of light who can merge their minds and bodies into one, becoming Siang. They are the TRUE hope of the Order of Light who doesnt believe in Liu Kang, but they still send him to compete. Siang is the last son of the original Kung Lao.
Their drawings are just Ok, but when they transform into Siang, this character just looks awesome. Spiky green hair and magic glows, with a weird mask. He dies at the hands of Goro, but then a few moments later (Goro was fighting all the main warriors he had imprisoned with the help of Tsung: Sonya, Liu Kang, Cage, Sub, Kano, Rayden, Siang) Goro disappears by magic. Tsung attacks, but Rayden sends everyone into Outworld.
In the comics of Battle wave (more of them them later), Sing is actually still alive, but Sang his twin is dead, they merge for a last time to kill Shao Kahn, but they can never separate again. He is half dead, half alive. Sadly, Scorpion was controlling the dead with a magic stone Kahn gave him. So now, Siang is under the control of Kahn, half dead, half alive, he struggles in his mind to do the right thing.
Scorpion then sees the pain of Siang when he tells him his story, and has mercy on him at the end. They were not fighting; they are friends in the story. Scorpion then destroys the magic gem, Siang is very happy, he feels free he is distracted when suddenly he is attacked and killed, by Scorpion who wanted to save him from the pain. I WISH I had my scanner to show you all how they look TOO MUCH alike. TOO much in fact. I guess time will tell.

Characters like Hydro, Zaggot, Lance, Durac, ETC have GREAT potential. You know, i've always dreamed that the MK characters from the komics would someday be a part of the real storyline. IMO that would be awesome, i hope the MK team thinks about it. It seems to me like the MK team doesnt really have anymore good imaginations when it comes to making new characters for the new MK games. The oldies always seem to be the best. Plus, if they cant think of any good new characters, then why not use the characters from the komics? there awesome, unique, classic, and have amazing potential. They should really do this. I can already think of a kick ass storyline for all of them. Characters like Lance could take Jax's place once in a while in the games. Hes a kick ass SP member IMO. |
I absolutely agree!
Zaggot, Siang and Lance were in fact some of my favorite characters from the comic books! There are so many with such great potential that are forgotten in old pages as if they never existed.
I would be lying if I said I never dreamed of seeing one of them in the game. Zaggot is my fave. Even his raven/crow kicks ass!
