Its just something strange and curious.

Whatever happened to that statue??? Could it be that its just early programming and they didn’t put it there while they were adding the new additions to the arena?

Could there be a reason to its absence? A Shokan Ritual?

I sure hope it’s not a sign that the already destroyed body of Goro will emerge from the hot lava if Kitana’s ending did happened.

I rather know that Goro never actually died, then having the team bringing him back from the death.

That's only one part of the arena. There is nothing stopping his statue from being on the other side lol!

If it is supposed to be there, then maybe they just haven't added it yet.

LOL. If the statue actually is in the other side. Please forgive this useless thread. But can someone post a pic or something?

If Im not mistaken, the statue was in the middle of the arena back in MKDA, there is not even a sign of a foot in this pic.
I just notice the horrible hit detection between Ashrah and Raiden in that screenshot.

I booted up my MKDA and did some research:

Everything is normal in that picture. The goro statue is on the side opposite the throne visible in that pic.

Well I think Ashrah had just side stepped Raiden's kick, so I doubt the hit detection is THAT bad (It bloody well shouldnt be.) She looks as if shes stepping on his balancing foot though...

And although its already been cleared up, yes the statue stradles the entrance, as that pic is of the throne and back of the palace.

Good Work!
It'd be cool if when the DK captured Kitana he smashed through the statue and there are only his legs still there. Along with his head on the ground. Sort of a sign within a stage of the Dragon King's power.
