I hope she gets a giant boomerang...

But in the trailer she had a thin sword.. is this a stage weapon? a preliminary weapon? I SURE HOPE SO!!! Enough swords in this game already...

Yeh but i hope they make it look a bit more deadly than just a old wooden boomerang, the sword is for testing, as in Jade's bio they both have sun-bin as a fighting style and both have scorpions pic in their health bar

She has to have a boomerang. It wouldn't be Tanya without it. I'm sure she'll have it but how they'll make it work I don't know. Hopefully she'll have two bladed boomerangs that she can throw as well as hold.

Yeah and I want to see those boomerangs real big. Like twice her size. So big she can bearly lift them. And when she throws them, they go way out and come back. Just like a real boomerang,or kinda like the old nerf boomerangs, three bladed. That would be sweet. And if she threw the nerf looking ones they would go out and come back spinning in a circle. I loved those things they remind me of popcorn. DSB

popcorn? umm...not sure I know what you're talkin about, but I don't like the idea of a giant boomerang. Maybe make the boomerang metal, and put a small blade at either end. Maybe even leave it wooden and put the blades on, I dunno. But I definitely hope she keeps her boomerang.

She's not the most original character in my opinion, so a unique weapon like that would go a long way in motivating me to select her above anyone else.

I sure hope she gets a boomerang. Maybe they could work the fighting style such that the 1 and 2 buttons are for melee combat, and the 3 and 4 buttons are to throw. In addition to merely throwing her boomerang high and low, there could be all sorts of "deceptive" throwing techniques - ex. a "feint" throw where it just comes back to you; a "feint-feint" that starts like the aforementioned feint throw but then comes back to attack the opponent; a "double-attack" throw where it slashes once, circles around and attacks again. All of these variants can be implemented by using directionals, ex. f+3, b+4, u+3, etc.. Hopefully Tanya will have a fatality that involves her boomerang, too .

I don't think she will have the boomerang, it just doesn't fit with the current treand of actual hand-to-hand combat weapons. She'd be at a major disadvantage if her only attack was to throw her weapon. And don't say a boomerang can be used in hand-to-hand combat. It can't. Nuff said.

She's actually one of the more original females in MK. Certainly more original than Jade. Tanya is a deceptive female, which up until that time, we didn't have any sneaky bitches in the game.

Sonya was the tough girl tom boy. Kitana was the princess gone assassin gone princess. Mileena was the grunt clone.

i am sick of every one having a sword, a boomerang would be perfect, not only cause its her weapon, because it is orignal

I don't know... the idea of her holding a boomerang in a deadly kombat seems kinda silly LOL
( I thought she looked kinda silly in MK4)... UNLESS she has TWO metal boomerangs with really sharp edges ( kinda like Kitana with her fans )

I think she could have two metal Crescent Moons as boomerangs. They would work just as good as boomerangs but look alot more MKish.

its a cool weapon and I know the makers will 'update' her boomerang if she's gonna have 1!

She wasn't black, she had a lot of fake tan... bottles and bottles of tanning cream...

Anyway, a way to make a boomerang deadly would be putting a blade on it.. or make it a giant boomerang.. (it doesn't have to be too elaborated.. after all, Bo rai cho and Jade have sticks....)
