I haven't seen any so I can't say.I hope Liu Kang returns as a greenish transparent ghost.His moves should be totally different then his moves in the past MK games.

I'm thinking that maybe "ghost" and "zombie" would be his two fighting stances, with each stance allowing him to have different abilities.
But yeah, lets wait and see! Woohoo! He's now officially confirmed! I hope he's playable!

I'd say that the 'Ghost' form would be very similar to his old school look. 'Zombie' will probably be akin to Jason Voorhess, minus the hockey mask.

I'd love to see him return as a zombie slave of the dragon king.His moves could be really crazy looking maybe a Drunken boxing like stance with his head flopping around.

I dont think he will be playable, but a important part of the story, of course.

I hope he does not take up two character slots one as a ghost and another as a zombie. I will have a real hard time playing this game if it is like that. I hope he is only in people's endings. Or in quest mode. 21 more days and we will see, at E3.

Well i think the "Ghost" form will be better, i'm not a big fan of zombie's (except Michael Jackson). But I picture him as his old form but then light blue of colour and transparent.

I have a big question about spirt Liu Kang. How in the heck do you fight a spirt? I can't wait to see how the zombie Kang looks!!!!!

Considering the ending where Liu's spirit jumps into Kano's body, I don't fully understand why they have decided on the zombie and spirit forms. But I'm not complaining. I just think there should be a little continuity there.
Still, to see an undead character outside of Scorpion (would Nitara be considered undead? She is a vampire after all) is interesting.

don't get me wrong I am not complaining about fighting Liu kang's spirt I just don't see how can you can fight a spirt. To me a spirt is like matter and not matter, like a ghost can pick up objects up , but say if you try to touch a ghost your hand will past through it. I know that scoropion is a spector in human form, but my own personal question his will Kang's spirt will be like.

As long as he has a good reason to return and doesn't sound like a fricking chicken, then I may just forgive the MK team for this (imo) stupid move.

I'd say the zombie look would be cooler. The ghost look implies a transparent Liu Kang (dull).

I think the zombie Liu Kang would be cooler, because I'm the type of sick bastard who would get a laugh out of his head lolling around on his broken neck.

I've said this in several other threads and i'm still sticking with it because i think it makes sense.

The zombie would be Liu Kang's body without his soul. It will not have his moves. The story for this character can't revolve around Liu for revenge or anything. It will be something totally different.

The ghost or spirit will be Liu Kang's soul, possibly in another body. The moves will be Liu's moves and his story can stay on track and have the same background as it always has.

I think he should be a clear like color kinda like Metal Gear Solid 2 and I think he should have his old moves along with some new one's to.

Can a ghost actually fight or hit anything?

maybe liu kang will be a ghost in control of a corpse, kinda like a puppet. like his ghost form will be close or somethin to the body and it copies what he performs. kinda like a character in the game tekken i think. but i dont think they should make liu kang a fighting ghost i mean.... how are they gonna hit a ghost.... let alone perform a fatility.....

Maybe he is in his zombie form under the control of the dragon king or just to get revenge and then he is a spirit as an alternate costume or something. Or he might just be in konquest instead of being a selectable character. Just my thoughts.

Maybe his spirit is good but his body is evil?
And will he still scream like an overexcited monkey?

I think that the Zombie form will be cooler because Zombies are just cooler. Take all of the survival horror games. What do they have? Zombies and it will be awesome to play as one instead just shooting them.
