i think well be lucky to get a mk6 let alone 7.
yes its been confirmed but how many times has a game been confirmed and never released?

besides if mk6 comes out(im pretty sure it will but theres always complications)im pretty sure it'll be the last one.
unless of corse midway pulls a almighty super hyper mk game out of their hat and evry conosle owner buys it-then they might think about a 7. in which case there will be no need for another anyway

i think they will continue the mk series its too valuable to let go damnit its the best series ever made. plus that playboy executive will add some cash and all to it hopefully make it better and less childish. realistically i think it will happen about the series continuing and it will be on both systems no doubt

they need to make some more side quests like sub zero mythologies. that was a fun break from the usual.
