I don't think that the game would've been better because this forum can tell you that everyone has different points of view. If they did that, a few people would've been happy but a lot more people would've been upset. So if they just put who most people like, then they have a better chance of pleaseing more fansI think the MK team tried to hard to please the fans, I think they could have put characters (they wanted) in it and to make a better story out of it, but they wanted to please the fans so thats why some characters had to come.

i think they did a lot to make this game awesome and im really proud of them but there's probably lil details that they could have done to make it better, like a better character select screen, but its ok.......the game turned out great

I agree with both of you, I think either way if they did make the game themeselves or listening to the fans, they would make a good game none the less. They know not to go back to the MK4 roots, and Im pretty sure they know what fans kinda want with the success of DA, Then they will add new contents to the game.
So I can stay neutral on both sides if they "want" to please the fans or they want to do it themeselves... I think they would please the fans anyways. I mean look at MK4 - MK:DA...big difference they made.

I think it came out great. I liked how they brought some characters back, like Nightwolf. I just got the game though (Christmas present) so my opinion might change as I go along So far though I love everything about it. Especially the Chess Kombat

i think the game is great
but its sad that the characters in deception are so unbalanced, although i have to mention that its very cool to see old fighters like baraka etc
