As I posted in a similar thread a couple of pages back. No. But you can check what each map has on it in the Map Select screen (R1 while in vs mode, or R1+L1 in practice for, PS2). The green axe means there is a stage weapon, the yellow arrow means there is mutliple tiers, and the redish skull means they're death trap(s).
