Doesn't Deception LOOK to be the MOST FUN Fighting game.....ever?

I have to hand it to Midway, they took EVERYTHING i liked about DA (which was almost everything) and enhanced it ten fold.
I just rented Street Fighter Anniversary (for nostalgia purposes) and am i glad i rented it. It just isn't all that FUN.
But deception looks like ANYONE can pick up the controller and play the game, but at the same time make it look cool.
What i mean is, the throws look so complicated, but all that is required is pushing ONE button. It seems the Genre is becoming more user friendly as well. Gameplay in deadly alliance was easy enough to learn in minutes, but difficult enough to master over time.
Thats what i am looking forward to in Decepotion. It will take no time what so ever to start having fun with it and fighting ina sense that makes the fighting look great (not just button mashing and constant sweeps, you know?)

It pretty much looks the same as MK:DA, and though I liked MK:DA, I think I'll like this a lot better, particularly because of Mileena returning \m/

If DA wasn't user friendly to you, then Deception should be just about the same. It's the same fighting engine, so it might have that same effect when you try to pick up and play.

The gameplay is a little faster so you wont feel as sluggish. You got DTs to factor in also...the game feels a little different than DA, but yea, if you didnt like DA this is for the most part the same game in that it feels mostly the same.
The graphics are the same but they manage to make it look better with good use of color.

Yea, Deception might be on the top list as one of the best fighting games when it is released.
Deception does have the same fighting engine as Deadly Alliance, except it has been spiced up with faster gameplay and tighter controls.
The faster gameplay makes it look real cool. Reminds me of the 2-D fighting except with 3-D characters.
Character and background Graphics look more enhanced and more solid.

What list? Where's this "list" you speak of.

Can't say I agree there, it isn't user friendly to begin with, the idea behind these 3D versions of MK are, welcome to the game, this the dial-a-combo system, you will use it or you will be rubbish at the game.
There's no creativity in fights, you play with the combo's you're given, and that's it, no wonder it was so easy to pick up and play, there's nothing to learn after memorising combo's.
throws being complicated through one button says one thing to me, lack of user input, I don't want to watch people doing lots of hits while I just watch.
Basically I'm waiting for MK:7 to have "fun" in kombat mode.
Konquest looks interesting, and the story looks good as usual, I'll put a lot of effort into Konquest and play kombat mode to find out what happens in the story, but that's it, I'll play chess and super puzzle fighter + fatalties rip-off only if there's something to unlock.

MY LIST. I would let you see it, but it's sitting in the back of the file cabinet in the back of my head.
Do you think Deception could make top 5 of ANY list as the best fighting game?

nope sorry Mortal Kombat's are novelty fighting games, they aren't made with being a good fighting game in mind, they're in their own category, similiar to a 3D version of Midway Arcade Treasures, hence adding all the extras.

Mortal Kombat could make the top five list for best fighting game for Spike TV or G4. But if you mean a real thought out list, maybe the SRK fellas, then I am afraid no. There's nothing really "great" about MKs gameplay to begin with. But most of us don't play MK for its gameplay. But still.
