Doing away with sub bosses

posted03/15/2004 07:05 AM (UTC)byWhat if instead the person you fight before the head honcho is whatever charater your character has issues with and before they fight there can a little scene between them and after one is defeated another dialoge. Instead just another big monster or Shokan or Centaur. Just a thought.

I don't agree with the idea. Too many other fighting games use that approach, huge outrageous sub bosses are a staple of Mortal Kombat. goro, kintaro, motaro and moloch. Come on now its not something I'd even consider changing. Maybe the issue thing can be a sub sub boss for each character but otherwise the huge monstrosities must stay.

Not a bad idea, but to me, an mk game isnt an mk game with out the big, bad, SUB BOSS.

I think its a good idea TomTaz. alot of times certain characters are fighting just to kill a certain other character.. if that character is the first person they fight.. there would be no point in them fighting anyone else afterwards.... haha does that make sense? My point is that I agree that there should be a huge sub boss, but at the same time it would be cool to have your character fight their main enemy right before the sub boss, to kinda give closure to their story.... Im sorry if that didnt make sense, I worded it the best I could.
