I would like to see Quan Chi in MKD as a playable character, he is my favorite character.

But if he is in Konquest, I will be happy

I think they have done a good job to please all the people who have had their fan favorite character out for some time.

Plus, I still believe Sektor will be in MKD as a playable character.

kitana and sektor r a must for mk deception.. besides sektor will be in..kitana has a 50/50 chance...but she's suppose to be killed off at the end,if this is true then she must be playable in mkdeception..if not ill be 1 pissed sob!!!

Well, much of MKD is modeled off of the fan reaction to MKDA. They knew very well that they couldn't please everybody, so they decided to please the "other' side of the MK fanbase. Hence, the nostalgic favorites are returning.

And in my opinion, this is the biggest accomplishment for MKD. It's showing the aspect of MK which was almost buried into the sand of time.

But in a way, I think it's also an experiment. They're trying to see what would happen if they took the present main characters out of the central roles, and replace them with obscure characters. I thought about what would happen if such characters were made the primary focus, and we're finally going to see how it turns out.

So yeah, it makes up for it. BTW, Sektor's on his way.

Of course since I have disliked Kitana since MK3, Im glad Kitana will probably not be a playable character in the game.

As long as Mavado and Sektor are in MKD, I don't care about any other characters. I also love new characters, so there is new blood to spill!

She'll most likely be playable. Most of the MKDA models will be ported to MKD for playability.

But for her to be revamped and given a new part in the story, it's extremely not likely.

Sektor is definately in, without a doubt.

Also, Kitana is most likely playable since i hear her model will be ported in MKD, like Temp said.

As for Quan Chi and Shang Tsung? well, dont think they ARENT in MKD, cause you could be suprised.

I highly doubt they'll just port Kitana's DA model into deception and make her playable... they are trying hard to make this the next MK2 so they aren't going to do a half a$$ed job. She'll be in konquest thats probably it.

and even if she is killed off she'll be back no doubt because as usual 80% of the endings will be false. sonya has died twice and when she's back in the next game there will be no mention of this. And shang tsungs died in almost every single game... along with every other character

porting a character from mkda wont be a half assed character.. they will look just as good as the rest,just w/ out a new costume..

The MKD team creates the maximum amount of characters with original designs, moves, and story that time will allow. After that, everything else is bonus. Kitana will most likely not be in the game, but for those who still wish to play as her, will most likely be able to do so. They're not half-assing anything.

i honestly think theyre working with a perfect set now...i dont want to see more only because it would prolly turn MK7 into a game full of new characters and i wouldnt want that i like a good mix of old and new

Same Here XiahouDun84, hopefully Sektor and Sareena make it into mk d and playble too. if those two are in, im set.

I guess I'm unlike a lot of people...I don't like a lot of new characters. I say if there are 20 selectable characters, maybe 4 or 5 of them should be new. There are already tons of characters that are stuck in the doldrums of Mortal Kombat to where we don't need an onslaught of new characters. To be honest, the only new characters that even interest me so far are Ashrah and Kira.
Sektor should definately be in. He was always my fav cyberninja. Plus his story is becoming very interesting. Kitana should definately be an important part of the storyline but if she is selectable (which would mean she isn't being held captive), what's the point of Sindel and Jade embarking on their rescue mission which is what I assume their story would be.

I agree with Temp dude! They are trying to make the co-stars into stars in Deception!
And I really, really want Kitana in this game, but if she's gonna have the exactly same outfit with the exact same moves, then I'd rather see her in MK7 with a completely new outfit and new moves! Not mentioning that she'll look stunning and much more realistic since MK7 is for the next generation systems (isn't it?) !!

If she's in Deception, I'm afraid she won't be in MK7!
But that's only my opinion!

So far i'm loving the cast of characters we have, really only other people i need are Rain and Reptile. If Reptiles not it i'll understand why but if Rain isn't in it i'll be madd. Theirs such a perfect place for Rain in the storyline he'd fit right in and we have yet to see him. I'd like to see Sektor and Shang Stung but i won't be upset is they don't make it. Hoping for Reptile but don't expect him to be there. Rain i'm expecting he needs to be there Kitana is missing Sindel is back Rain needs to make an apperance.

Kitana and Sektor will be playable. Kitana has to be since certain things MAY result in her demise.

As for the topic, the character roster is brilliant! I love it! I have so many of my faves in. This is better than MK Trilogy without a doubt!

And you will see Shang, Quan and others soon enough. Just wait!

I think that after MK:Deception there should be a game like MK:Trilogy But in amazing graphics on either PS3 or X-Box 2 does any else agree?
