In dealing with the super unlockables I think that ed boon had said that you need to beat konquest mode twice to get everything and if thats the case you get rayden and liu kang by beating it once and so they cannot be the super unlockables.
Just my thoughts.

I've been reading this alot and the more I read it the more I belive it. Never thought that Raiden and Liu were SU anyway because...
1. They are too easy to unlock.
2. Many places have stated there are more characters to unlock besides the 24 on the select screen which Raiden and Liu Kang are on the Select List.(GamePro being one of them).
3. There are so many hints to a more characters, whether they are Confirmed or not.
